Recessed Lights

 Can lights are lights with the housing recessed inside the ceiling. and typically all that be see from below is the trim and the light bulb.

They can be installed in most ceilings but if the home is two story and there is a room immediately above where you want the new cans. then  cutting the ceiling in multiple places and sheetrock repair is required.
